My mate is a ST holder at Blackpool and he says they have signed Wiseman to play right-back and definitely NOT centre-half. Just thought I'd let you know.
Going for weekend with friends and family and staying in St Annes. Men will go to match (football & beer fest) whilst women have steam-bath, manicure and sip on apricot juice. Men then turn back up at hotel at 19:00 hours............stinking of guinness with meat n taty pie stains down front of top, shouting "there's only one Terry Butcher" and wearing blood-stained head bands in homage to the big man. Hotel staff disapprove.........as do women, who then forgive us when we pull out a "kiss me quick" hat. Story to be continued...............
To be fair to him, I thought he was a decent right-back when that was the only position he played. Then after the long spell of playing shockingly at centre-back and then reverting to right-back in some games he was still shocking - probably due to the stick he was getting from the crowd.
So let me get this right ... at Blackpool it's the ST holders who sign the players and decide what position they get to play ! ! What a top idea, cos we all know that ST holders are the lifeblood, the knowledge font and the be-all-and-end-all of every club who barely get a thing wrong ! ! ST for manager ! !
