What? BFC paying more than Blackpool sounds so wide of the mark to me.........maybe he thinks he has a chance with a new manager at the helm of BFC?
Fantastic news. I'm sick of us losing our best player every January for a paltry amount. Well done, Scott. Probably turned down the chance to quadruple his wages to stay and lead the lads out of trouble.
To be honest i would prefer the new manager to take a look at wiseman. The main problem is how he has been used.
No, no, no, nooooooooooooooo.... *wakes up, struggling to breathe, cold sweat on brow...need, water* "What's the matter?" "Oh, it was terrible, I had a nightmare that Scott Wiseman failed to agree terms with Blackpool and returned to Oakwell". "He has!" "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!".
stinks of someone else coming in for him, offer us less money offer him more wages with what they've saved
We'll see. His decision not to go. I put it down to loyalty that everyone claims doesn't exist anymore. Wants to stay and fight etc etc.
If Keith Hill was still here I maybe would agree there woudl be some loyalty. But he ain't and I don't think for one single moment that Wiseman, after his miserable season thus far, is showing any signs of loyalty. He will want away but without any financial/contractual penalty.
I like to look on the bright side. I don't blame him for wanting away, find it amazing he's so **** that another Championship club wants him. If he's still here and the new manager plays him then we know he's not as **** as folk think.
Got to agree. Wiseman struggled at centre half and only Hill couldn't see that but I think the treatment of Wiseman was over the top at times. A new manager might get the best out of him and that could only be good for us.
So did I and that's why I was laughing when Blackpool came in! Still think he'll be away at first financially acceptable opportunity.......maybe Blackpool will come back with an improved offer. It seeems strange typing "improved offer" and "Wiseman" in the same sentence.
Michael Appleton wanted him. The same Michael Appleton that wanted Kelvin Etuhu..... The Blackpool fans on their forum told me that Karl Oyston would scupper any move if he didn't rate him. I'm guessing he did what Appleton failed to do, and checked dvd footage of Scott and his displays this season.
