Looked like he was held back when they scored the first. Not his fault for second. Thought he had a very good second half

Much better. Hope his critics don't make a scapegoat out of him today.

He did very well to clear the ball over the bar when it looked certain they would score. Some very tidy defending second half, he had the beating of his man when running back towards goal every time. One heart in mouth moment when he tried to cut inside his man but had he not been fouled it would have come off.

Played OK. Could have done with Foster at the side of him to challenge the likes of Ngog and Davies. Challenging players isn't Wiseman's game, but it isn't really the game of any of the back three we picked. As a trio they were far too weak, but that isn't Wiseman's fault and his individual performance was OK considering we conceded three.

Can't blame the defence for the last two. The second was a great first time strike and Steele should have palmed the third away but I dont' think it was a free kick anyway. Not sure what happened for the first but I think there was a foul in there. The ref let Davies get away with murder in the first half.

I was very surprised Foster didn't play against a team like Bolton. That back three would be effective against a couple of quick and nippy strikers but Davies and N'gog are big units. Foster just has a bit more presence despite not being much taller than any of them.

A longish thread about a player having a decent game speaks volumes..

about his past performances. Yes he had a decent game and was no more guilty than others for the goals. Perkins run his heart out again and had no more than a decent game today, where's the thread about him?
