Just seen the goal. Some defending, how easy can you make to let someone beat you. Yesterday I gave credit to Danns, but he didn't havecto do anything to beat Wiseman. He got lucky not to give a pen away in the first half when he went down sliding in early in the first half. Could easily have been beat and brought down there player.
Wiseman had an off day, they're all allowed allowed 1 I suppose. To be honest none of the back 4 were amazing yesterday and yet we only got beat by one goal which speaks volumes to me. Wiseman has probably been one of our best players this season. Dare I say the best?
Wiseman has about 30 off days a season. Just not up to it. He can be ok but too often it's his switching off which costs us.
Wiseman did ok yesterday I thought covering that whole side on his own while Dawson sauntered round doing as he pleased leaving us open time and time again. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't wiseman. If he goes for the ball they pass it round him if he sits back and tries to stop an easy run into the box by the spare man he's slated for not going to the ball. Until we play somebody in front of him who can do the job we will continue to concede down that side.
Our full backs have a very tough job, in that there is no consistency in the team formation and player selection, in front of them. Wiseman is good enough and he's proved that this season. TK isn't good enough and he's proved that this season.
