this happened in the 1960,,s
im sure those of that have travelled driven
on Rotherham road
approaching carltom x roads this saturday approaching the Xroads in my truck going backe to depot
no rush,nice clear day
i was approaching from the Monk bretton side
the raod was clear
when suddenly appeared from the Athersley side was a little girl about 4/5 years old fuly dressed
i saw her walk straight across the road(ican see her now)she walked straight across not looking right or left
she was on amission
she got across and started waking towards burton bank
so i pulled up, and topped her,
ccalled the police, from the phone box there
she was full of chat did not have a care in the world
the police came
i told the what happened
i never knew the end of the story
i just hope
she belongs to you

 

She doesn't belong to be Bob, but i hope she's ok!
