Simple.

Dennis Souza is the worst centre half in the division.
And he's in your first team.

That's probably why you need another centre half.

Oh - and you're a bunch of bummers.

RE: Souza

He's definitely one of the worst imo, judged on his form this season anyway. You won't find many on here that agree though.

On the whole of this season then no

On the last couple of months he's the worst centre half I've seen at Oakwell for a long, long time.

Aye.

He's worth a goal a game to the opposition at the moment.

Did you know that before the Preston game I was in the changing rooms.
There's a big board on the wall for tactics, analysis of opposition etc.
It said "PNE's biggest weakness is Mawene - get him 1 on 1, as he is weak".

Who did I think was PNE's best player that day? Youl Mawene.
How many headers / challenges did this weak player lose? Virtually none.

Just thought I'd point that out.
Not sure why though.

How many times did we get him 'one on one' ?

Erm ...

... more importantly - who was going to get 1 on 1 with him?
Macken's explosive pace would obviously cause any weak centre half many a problem.

It also said that Mellor was very, very quick.
I'm hoping the board was just a joke - put up there for the amusement of visitors.

I drew a picture of a **** on it.
With hairy balls & spoff coming out of the end.

That's why we didn't win, the midfield were looking to pass to the big ****.

(insert name of own object of ridicule here)

RE: Erm ...

I'm amazed Mawene played well.
He must have quite low self esteem.

My favourite comment was "Sean St Leger - close him down as he likes to come out with the ball & shoot".
I wonder how they worked that one out, as he'd scored the late winner against us about 3 weeks earlier.

I think our scouts are literally cub scouts.
Like Davey - they've got 23 badges in coaching, knot tying & signing rubbish strikers.

Souza is pants.

I absolutely agree.

He's slow, loses the guy he's supposed to be marking at set pieces, and his right foot is useful only for standing on.

Consequently, we need a defensive midfielder to play in front of the pacey Souza/Moore combination to stop the opposition scoring at will.

Now we appear to have two potentially good players vying for the same spot, Andranik and Colace, while the centre of defence remains as problematic as ever.

Ever since everyone changed their mind about him and decided he was good, he's been ******* ****.

Harsh.

If I were at war & I looked across to find out that my right hand man was a pathetic, gender confused buffoon - then I wouldn't be too confident.

SM thinks Souza is better than Bobby Moore & Darren Moore combined.
