now is the time for Simon Davey to show what he is made of. He needs to pick his best eleven-no I don't know what it is either-from the players we have here-I don't think a loan is a good idea at this stage

    I'd go with

    Muller
    Foster
    Souza
    Nyatanga
    Werling
    Campbell-Ryce
    Togwell
    Howard
    Devaney
    Mostto
    Ferenczi .

    Aye.

But in a few games we'd have been able to call upon Mattis & McCann.
Then Robbie Williams in the middle of the park for our biggest game of the season.

    Get in there.

    £1.1m of attacking *****.

After seeing Anderson at Hull - and his comments re wanting to get into Everton's first team - I am quite glad he has gone. I don't think his heart has ever been fully in it.

There was a distinct lack of fight within the team at Hull of which he was one of the worst culprits. I honestly don't think - other than the odd flash of individual skill - he has looked any better than what we have got.

Togwell should have been playing more often this season instead of Mcann/Anderson - and to a lesser extent when Johnson played. I don't think our midfield would have looked so lacklustere on Monday if that had been the case although admittedly it woudl have been a trade off between craft and workrate.

Togwell's inclusion alone could not have stopped the Hull debacle but it could have freed up a bit more room for Howard/Campbell-Ryce- I would be tempted also to draft in Kozluk for Foster (shocking last 2 games), Reid for Nyatanga (give him a well earned rest)..................and..........Coulson for Mossto. It's now or never for Coulson - it wouldn't be a gamble either given the total ineffectivness of Miguel to date.

I wouldn't drop Foster, he was fine against Burnley. Not the best on Monday night, but there wasn't anybody else much better.

I'd give Nyatanga a rest, put Foster into the middle and bring in Kozluk.

It's all about opinions of course but I am suprised you rated him v Burnley. An incident in the first half when Muller threw the ball to him down the channel - and he then proceeded under no pressure at all to run the ball out of play - summed up his performance for me nicely.

Is he too small to be a centre half? Or is he another Bobby Hassle? Im not sure - Speaking of which let's hope the latter is back soon
