Get on that phone and beg Moyes for Stones back for the run in. He would just fit right back in (at right back lol) and would love playing at Sheff Wed and fighting for the cause to keep us up. He still hasn't played a game and doesn't even get on the bench. Everton have a 2 week break now and don't have cup games mixing with the league, so it's a no brainier for us and them???

Would be much better than taking a chance on some new guy??

have to say, disappointed with everton on the stones situation. would be an incredible boost, but it's not gonna happen.

I'd be very surprised if Stones returned now. He put his own interests first before ours, which is fair enough but I certainly wouldn't go begging for him.

Agree, made his choice, and Everton owe us nothing, he's their player. Need to let go.

Mmm, it's not currently to his liking that he is playing for the Everton U21 side, but forget about him coming back on loan, because unless there is a big change of mind in the Everton management team he is going nowhere this year.

What's up with Bobby playing in right back? Or even Wiseman? Not Wiseman's biggest fan but I thought the defence we played yesterday were absolutely top notch... We didn't concede a goal! So why change it? :)

Too right. I think Wiseman is fine for right wing back, with Bobby and Foster capable of slipping into the centre back role.

It's our own fault for not making it part of the deal but Moyes has gone down in my estimations over this. I simply can't see how what Moyes is doing benefits the player more than coming back and playing for the club that developed him into the player he already is.

Seamus Coleman was man if the match for Everton yesterday, they also have Neville to play there, stones won't get a look in IMO, however we have sir bob. that's that sorted.

It doesn't need to though. He's signed a 5 yr deal. This was always a long term investment, they're happy for him to just work on his fitness. He won't lose any of his ability by not playing competitive football for the rest of the season. We're the only losers, but hey

No chance. Time people moved on and realised we won't get Stones back. More chance of plaiting ****.

Haha too much information. One of my pals he's a diehard Everton fan. I asked him when we first sold Stones to them what the chances are of us getting Stones back on loan until the end of the season. He said even though there is very little chance he will play for Everton this season (mentioned him being one for the future) he couldn't see the likelyhood of us or anyone for that matter getting him.

In short he doesn't think Moyes would see sending him out on loan as a good thing because Stones has already more than proved he can play at this level. By keeping him at Everton Moyes can keep a closer eye on him. Stonesy will be training daily and learning from being around much higher calibre of players. He can get used to the bigger budget with the likes of facilities. He can get used to the big crowds by being there to watch first team games from the stands. Basically now are the months Moyes will be getting Stones adjusted to the big league before he comes back in pre season. You never know we might get him on loan at some point next season, but probably not this season.
