With the quality of our strikers

Playing 1 up front wont work, the defenders didn't seem to know who they should be marking. Whenever they cleared the ball it was coming straight back at them. Mcparland looked a better option than Devaney. Oh and by the way, boro are a premiere club what did we expect. Just a pre-season friendly don't worry about the result all we need is a striker & we'll be ok.(Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y)

couldn't exactly cut the mustard in league 1 so what makes us think then can in the champ?

still, mourinho thought hayes could be a good champ player, even a lower prem striker so ya never know

 

So why don't Richie play him up front?

I'm not saying that he is crap, just not a prolific scorer, not even average.
