    Seems to me a contingency plan was in place. Perhaps the white smoke has already come out of the chimney and we've missed it??.

    Me, although the club haven't used the word sacked I believe in these situations, other words are used to be more respectful.

    'Relieved'. Apparently the Club 'relieved the manager', according to the statement. Sounds dodgy to me..

    Personally I think they've just left the club with Flicker, could be wrong. Id have thought if they'd sacked the entire team, then Mellon would have gone too and Heckingbottom given the caretaker job.

    I could be wrong like.

    I meant his backroom team, Flicker's definitely been sacked.
