when we have no one else capable of playing in the wingback positions.

The loss of those 2 and now the team looks quite disjointed and it seems Flickers square pegs round holes approach is not working.

Erm... Kennedy is perfect for LWB and we were doing fine before with Delap at RWB.

Just pick Bobby and Fozzie at CB and we'll stay up. Not complicated.

Disagree about Kennedy. Think he's better at centre half, looked poor as a wing back imo. Fozzy in for Wiseman.

I also don't think Kennedy can play LWB, doesn't have the pace nor the energy to do the job Golbourne did.

Loanee is the answer. We can manage at RWB with what's in the squad, but not LWB.

Why are you so convinced he can do it if he hasn't played there?

I thought that was where he played at Bristol City?

Because that's what he is. An attacking left sided defender. Ask any Leicester fan.

That's different from being a wing back.

Golbourne had the pace and the energy to get back and do his defending when he didn't have anyone else there to cover for him. I don't think Kennedy has. Attacking full back and wing back is different. Wing back you are entirely responsible for your flank. As an attacking left back you can overlap your winger and your winger can sit in for you.

If an attacking left sided defender isn't a wing back then what is? He's certainly more suited than Cywka who is neither.

Just what did Wiseman do wrong today?

    I really don't think it's so complicated.
Back three of Foster Crainie, and Kennedy is stable. just pick the best players from the squad to play LWB and RWB. In this instance, those people are not Ethuhu and Cwyka.
The best people for those jobs currently are Hassell / Delap and probably wiseman. wiseman is not a central player. cwyka did well today, but needs to be forward.
In fact, given our plethora of midfielders, I'd put delay wiseman at RWB or even O Brien., then Bobby at left. he'll do a job. the only problem then would be speed / fitness... We'd need someone to do a shift there.
Just don't disrupt the back 3 ... And if you have to, go to a flat back 4 and do not have the ridiculous midfielders are us line up we started with.

FWIW, I don't think Wiseman had a bay game at all today. He made one bad mistake in the second half, but other than that I thought he was pretty solid. Obviously he's an easy target.

Too many changes in my opinion, which I found surprising given the success we've had with a stable line up. Foster & Hassell should have arguably both started. Baffled by Etuhu playing right back - has to play in the middle alongside Perks, in my opinion.

O'Brien is industrious, but that's about it. Too early to judge Tunnicliffe IMO. As for Mellis, I can actually see the rationale. He's proved in several games, that he's not been up for the physical fight. He's a luxury player who only really thrives alongside ball winners.

In summary - too much shuffling, the best XI still picks itself IMO and I hope Flicker susses this

Oh....and the FA Cup game can't come quick enough.Convinced it's become a distraction.

Got to get back to our winning set up. Just need to solve Golborne replacement. Wise man played well today wonder if he could play there or get class loan in. I agree the cup match is not what we need at this time. Got to get in at Burnley, **** place for away supporters

    I Agree

To me it's simple. Don't put people in the team who are not as good as players on the bench. Regardless of their age or hair colour. Foster and Hassell should not be getting bum splinters with our squad.

Still think we'll stop up though.

Why not give Andrai Jones a run out? See what he's made of.

Jacob Mellis is a luxury. You're right about that. He's a player that scores goals and sets up even more. That's a luxury to us, and we're not using him enough.
