There can be no excuses for a performance like that and anyone trying to find positives is simply clutching at straws. Very, very poor.
He must go We are getting worse rather than better. The players look like they dont know where they should be playing and so end up just booting it clear. He needs to go now before its too late.

He should have changed it half time. But Mr Davey as usual waits 20minutes into the 2nd half before bringing Macken and Hammill on.
No passion, no flair, no imagination The first save Charlton's goalkeeper had to make was a comfortable one from Macken's header with about 18 minutes left. After that he made an excellent save from Hammill, but that was him done for the day. Our win over Wednesday appears to have been a flash in the pan when one considers all our performances in 2009.

At least 14 points needed from 14 games to have half a chance of staying up 20 points to beat last years total Not sure how you win home games playing with such a defensive formation - it may work occasionally away but surely a bit more ambition at home is needed especially against bottom sides
