"a funny old game in we were always hanging on and chasing the ball for large periods. Credit to Barnsley and like Swansea can be praised for playing some lovely football, especially from the midfield of Da Silva and my Barnsley key man Diego Leon. Both those players dictated play for large chunks and some of there quick passing one touch stuff was great to watch even from a home fans perspective. For the first time in a while the way Barnsley played had grumbles from the home support.

For all Barnsley's great football your end product was pretty much crap, good football so far then a tame cross into the box either easily seen out by Mancienne and Stearman or easy headers over the bar.

Wolves had to work hard today and going on ratio of chances fully deserved it, on playing football I'll say we did get ower arses whipped at times. But for me Wolves have class that can turn it on quickly, and Kites was one of those players who can look down on his luck then spark into life and create one or two. Foley complemented him a treat and that pairing down that side is just purely magic. Henry and Edwards were severely tested but Henry scrapes it for me as his hard work and fight helped stem so much of Barnsleys good work.

Upfront we huffed and puffed and SEB did well trying to hold things up but his unselfish layoffs were wasted with woeful efforts off target. Keogh did ok but never really continued off from Tuesday but again chasing Barnsley for long periods after the half hour didnt help. We did look good when Vokes came on and he had a few efforts and eventually the goal came and a cracking run and finish from my man of the match Foley got us the points and we started to breath easier.

Barnsley are next to Swansea for the best team to come to the Peledrome. I like the way you tried to work things pity you didnt have end product or that football could have made the result so different."

I havent really seen much of Barnsley at all since their promotion but they left me and some of the fella's next to me impressed.

Why write a paragraph about the game?
macken = ****, didnt have a shot on target all match!
Cureton = Not recieving any good throughballs etc that he needs!

Bobby hassel looked **** today, unfit really. Van hoemet is miles better!
Wolves certainly looked a good outfit to me

Its comments by the Wolves fans, not me.

I wasn't at the game, I'm just passing on comments from Wolves fans.

    Couldn't agree more

Some of the football we played at times was breathtaking, but as soon as we got near the Wolves box we were clueless. Thought Leon had an excellent game, although I'm not too sure about de Silva who seemed to make quite a few mistakes.
