Why does eveyone assume that sod would get the wolves job. As something been said? The job is not even available yet, although I imagine it could be (very) soon

He is from Wolverhampton so I assume he was a boyhood Wolves fan

The press especially Radio Dee Dar reckon that because he's from Wolverhampton and a lifelong Wolves fan that the board there would want him as their next manager. Personally even if they sack their manager I think they will be setting their sights abit higher than SOD.

Ah right, that makes sense then. Still think they would be more likley to go for owen coyle or someone of that ilk

no disrespect to s'o'd, the wolves job to him would be a bad move, too much expectation there,
not like macca with us where he would lose his cult hero status here, but i feel the bfc job will suit as long as the board/fans understand relegation is definitely possible/probable and allow whoever to start from scratch next season

This is what my mate bill wrote - wolves chief football writer

@billhowell68: 1-0 Luton it is all over... and it may be for the manager too #wwfc

SoD needs to be very careful here. If he's been offered the job and turns us down, wh's to say that he will be appointed Wolves manager anyway which will then leave him out of work as we should have appointed somebody else by then. And yes, Wolves is his boyhood team.

They, "Wolves" didn't want him last time. So should they go for him this time (if they sack their manager)
