It does sometimes feel as if they aren't interested in any fixture we feature in - which is of course ridiculous. I don't know what the arrangement is for getting pictures to Sky after the game, but there were one or two matches where pictures weren't shown last night, including Brammall Lane, although theirs were probably thrown into the Don on the way to the studio to avoid embarrassment.
don't think it's that they don't report our fixture it's just that for some reason our goals never get to sky as quickly as others, usually get them late on or next morning though
The media have been complimentary today if you read the papers... I agree overall we get **** all coverage but all my work colleagues who'd watched/listened to various stations said they'd heard how well we'd played. One stupid Wolves idiot doesn't matter a jot.
i dont care if we don't get any media coverage. im happy doing it all nice and quietly and keeping the press away. puts lets pressure on us aswell
Think we signed a deal which gives Barnsley World or whoever it is the first showing of our goals. We are never shown on the late night goals on Sky Sports News. Only us and another 3 clubs in the football league signed it.
Always been the same mate Any coverage we do get tends to either condescending (cloth caps and whippets) or grudging (Dour Barnsley Battled for a narrow victory etc etc). You just have to get used to it mate.
