assuming he moves his caravan north, I think they've been ripped off, thought he was nowt special last season, think our policy of looking abroad is well served if thats all 2 million quid gets you.

    UK Transfer market is insane.

I am more than happy to take a gamble on a few overseas lads.

I dont expect all of the signings to come off , but 2 or 3 wouldnt be so bad.

Same again in January and we whould be set for the play-offs.

    Too right

some will take longer to settle than others, but with proper competition for places bringing the best out of the existing lot, I think we should be ok. 14th is the target, anything above being a bonus.

I was talking to a Southend fan this morning and he said Eastwood was going to Charlton.

Has it been announced by the Clubs yet?

    (wicked)

I read a report in the Times today, worded like it was done but then again, most media coverage is agent propaganda this time of year so could be ballax. Id have thought Charlton were more likely given his 'mobility'.

    New Bruce Dyer?

I suspect you might be correct with respect to scapegoating potential.

Although I reckon Ritchie might still run him close. :D
