DAVID GEDDIS - Speaking in a recent Birmingham programme: "I enjoy the role of reserve team manager where the pressure is not as intense as a first team situation and you can help in the development of young players, but ultimately my strengths and abilities lie at senior level - that is what I have trained and am licensed to do." OK, so he's reserve team manager at Leeds and he helped run first team affairs for a short while before Wise came in, but we could gloss over that. Geddo was well liked when he played here in the mid 80s, he also has vast experience from his playing days, picking up European cup, League Championship and FA Cup winners medals. He has coached at both Middlesbrough and Newcastle and scouted for England and will no doubt have many contacts in the game. He says that his recent stint helping to run the 1st team @ Elland Road has whetted his appetite to step into full-time management. Could he be a candidate? I just wanted to throw another name into the mix!
