His backroom staff have taken training, so will have some idea, but he only has a couple of days to shape up some kinda team...

Got to start wth Gray and Boggy upfront (lets hope Oddjob has a bad week in training) :D

He says it will take time to get his team sorted so don't expect too many changes. Players are now under pressure so expect to osee a much better tempo!

For me 2 up front inc. Gray. Means Hume or Boggy not both. If had to put one out wide it would be Hume.

I agree definately not Hume and Boggy together, I still think Hume will need a few sub appearances to see how he may cope against big defenders.

I'd play Hume out wide. He's been delivering the best crosses and was successful out there for Leicester.

Campbell-Ryce and Hammill should be the 1st wingers on the team sheet, and yes... That means stay out there Jamal!

One of the best in this league on your day. I'm sure quite a few teams in this League would have JCR and Hammill as their wingers.

He might judge the team selection on more than...

who "runs around" or "tries hard" in training.

On that basis, I would have had 46 starts last season. And I'm 17 stone.

    RE: Not great...

KO has 2 left feet so that comparison is poor (N).

    .......Foster...Souza...Nyatanga

    Van Homoet......................Kozluk

    .....................Hassell
    ..........Leon...............Campbell-Ryce

    .............Odejayi....Macken

    This is my guess

    Preece
    Kozluk
    Foster
    Moore
    A left back on loan
    Devaney
    Hassell
    Emil
    Hammill
    ODJ
    Gray

    Please tell me...

Why you think he'd play Hassell in the middle when we have plent who can play there anyway?

And he won't play KO, no chance. Your on to a downer with that one i'm afraid.

    Battlers in midfield

no point having flair players cos the ball will be going mostly back to front. In League 2, the midfield is mostly about stopping the opposition playing. It'll be the return of direct football. Nowt wrong with that, if you're winning games. Terrible to watch if you're not.

    RE: Battlers in midfield

I know you no fan of Colace, powderpuff etc... But wouldn't he be the better option?

Folk say we shouldn't be playing Colace and Anderson together, but i'm not so sure. They did okay for me last season.

Colace wins the ball and Anderson dictates the play, all our football runs through ADS.

    Wouldn't mind seeing a midfield of - Hammill ... Anderson ... Colace ... Hallfredsson.

Much more balanced too. JCR needs resting and a kick-up the arse.

'All our football runs through ADS'

but he doesn't score or create goals.

Exact opposite to the type of midfielder we need.
