    Dear Mr Shepherd
    Mr Shepherd,

    Get yout money out and back your manager with a couple of decent signings as you keep saying you do. The fact that you have allowed our club to fall so far in the time you have been in charge beggars belief.

    Last night was the most embarrasing debarcle I have ever had the displeasure to witness, and from the post's I have read on this site this morning I am not the only one who feels this way.

    As chairman of the board, I feel it is time you came out and told the fans what your plans are for the future and in which direction you are taking us. What is your plan to get us out of the situation you have put us in?

    This position you have put us in, as you are the man in charge, you must realise, the buck stops with you.

    Further to the lack of summer transfer activity, and now it appears lack of action in the transfer market at the moment, I can only assume you think that we don't need to strengthen our squad. If this is the case and after watching the match last night, you must realise you have made a gross error in judgement.

    You claim geordie status and that you only have the interest of the club at heart. If this is the case, then I suggest you act now to prove through action, rather than rhetoric, that these claims you make have any basis in truth.

    I could go on all day listing the reasons why mismanagement has led us to this unenvyable position, but if as claimed you monitor this site, you know how passionatley we all feel about your dubious tenure as the head of our club.
