Woo Hoo, Some things never change!!!

After an absence from this here board of over a year I started reading the posts again the other day, good to see many of the same old names with the same old approach!!!

So i thought, what issue deserves my sad little two penneth? Having been sat in front of sky sports news all day dying to see something about the reds, i thought a glance here was in order, and how beautiful it is to see the threads taking the same structure as evry BBS thread ever! Either Ritchie and the board are a sack of ***** or we should be greateful to have a club and stop moaning!

Well here is a fella that lies in between! I would LOVE to see us bring in a couple more players as I believe we need them to ensure safety, but it is ever so slightly possible I may be wrong. Having been told there were irons in the fire, i'd have liked them to materialise. No matter, I'm sure the manager can see we need more strength in depth (hence why he's chasing players) so loan deals it will have to be. Good luck to AR in sorting it. By the way, has Bridges gone yet? I reckon 16 goals in 21 games last season suggests he still has something to offer and would be a good signing for us. Maybe time before midnight yet!

very true, but i do tend to believe that goal scorers are natural, and Bridges has shown enough ability in the past to convince me that he's worth another shot at a higher level if he is fit and playing regularly

i reckon we need experience in both areas

however an appropriate defender doesn't really spring to mind right now. I reckon if Morgan isn't in the Sheff Utd team after xmas we should perhaps have a go for him, and if Shipps were in our price range I'd have him back in a shot too.

There's time yet, loans were always the most likely options anyway, just gutted when i see players going elsewhere that are no better than us (Fuller to Stoke for example)
