    Go round building sites n ask. Most have a seperate skip for wood that they have to pay to get taken away so you're doing em a favour ;)

    was being a bit hard on you. I have a seriously large Chimnea stands 6 foot high ... its great to have that going on the patio at nights... and much more atmospheric than a gas patio heater. Go on Gum tree, or ask local farmers too.... also look at people who are going around doing gardening services... they have to often dispose of loge from ground clearances... You will sometimes have to pay... but it can be achieved quite cheap

    :)
