    Very pleased for her.


    However, note of caution, when she starts at Secondary school her initial grades (given around Xmas time) will drop some to Level 2 or 3's as this is what they expect in new subjects that we've never done.
    e.g. languages, design and technology etc.

    You are given an actual grade and a target grade.
    The target grade is what you should be capable of by the end of the year.


    Tell her to enjoy the holidays as the homework is much more and harder once September starts!

    a trip to alton towers to celebrate? that's what my dad did wi me when i passed my 11+. thing is, i was such a swat that i actually dint wanna and cried cos i would be bunking off school :-|

    Hate to do the competitive parent bit but

    R kid just got the highest score in the country in Maths
    and possibly science
    And having seen his science paper, the few questions he did get wrong were actually more right than the required answer.
