Words that are often spelled wrong

    Also, I've been wondering if it's grammatically correct to say "he should of done"?
    It sounds a bit weird to me but that doesn't mean that it's not correct.

    Yeah, it's definitely "should have"... but perhaps "should of" isn't incorrect either? (chinny)

    It's one of my pet hates when people put of instead of have.

    'Should of' is incorrect - as is 'would of' and 'could of' etc.

    We should all hang our heads in shame - English lessons from a Finn! Nice one Tomi!

    loose when they mean lose. Think this is the most common.

    I know I'm extremely guilty of putting differant instead of different - though thanks to this board I think I've irradicated that now.
