    If he's only played 10 games for Peru at 29 he can't be a regular...

    No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.
    He might be now. Isn't it something along the lines of 80% of last 2 year's competitive internationals? Although, FIFA rankings play a part too. Seem to recall some guy getting turned down 'cos he played for Gambia (I think?), although he'd played every game for the past 5 years.

    He has had to have played or be in squad for the majority of games his country has played in last 2 years. It is upto the authorities to decide if he has missed any of these trhrough injurty whether to count them as well
