Not as exciting as Brentford away and doesn't afford me the opportunity to make a dig at others for not going and doesn't give me any chance to say yet again that I go to a lot of games but hey somebody has to have a job right?
Different hours to normal but shouldn't be a overtime unless the brown sticky stuff hits the big rotating metal thing
I'm going to a better fan than anyone. Very distressed to hear one of the pubs on the four corners has closed. Love Griffin Park one of my favourite grounds use to work just down the round collecting runaways from children's homes. ( and no not in a Jimmy Saville way...). Missed many games doing that for little money so feel the pain of weekend working.
Just being flip worked for Children's Services. Though one of my Monday morning jobs was working out who was missing from the weekend and where they were.
I didn't realise that kids gong missing was such a big problem. How many disappeared over the weekend?
We are talking mid 90s here so no Idea if it is still a problem but there were loads of 'weekend missing' back then. A small percentage of teens going out 'having fun'. Like I said no idea if it is still a problem but we had loads of persistent short term absconders.
I did four hours overtime on the day of the Leeds game. Earnt myself £80 and avoided giving £37 to Leeds United. I hate work though. Swings and roundabouts.
