I want to buy a box of assorted world beers, including approximately 4 or 5 bottles. Any ideas where i could get something like this in town? I have seen one somewhere recently, but I forget where.

    Cheers!

Simply get thissen to Rhythm & Booze

And buy a whole host of world beers and put them in your own box thus saving a packet on pre packaged rip offs from christmas gift shops..

Factiest Fact in the Whole Wide World of World Beer Facts.

    Fact.

Next (Surprisingly!) in Meadowhall had one that looked ok, think it was small UK breweries rather than beers of the world.

Asda/Tesco probably do them - and M&S though they are their own label so not as good (in terms of authentic stuff)

Alternatively (and cheaper) go buy 4 bottles or so and package together yourself.

Thats the reason why I post on this BBS

The greatest advice from anywhere. It would take hours trawling the web for this kind of advice, yet a simple post and 5 minutes later I have some fantastic ideas.

    Didnt know Rhythm & Booze did world beers - must pay a visit! BRILLIANT (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y)

I was going to say that

just pick up different bottles from the supermarkets and make up a parcel of your own.

RE: Thats the reason why I post on this BBS

A couple of recommendations from R&B

    Staropramen (Czech)
    Leffe (Belgium)
not sure what else they have though they do have some more Czech ones, there'll be some Dutch and theres some US though I think it's all the "brewed under licence in UK" stuff that I try to steer clear of myself.

If you want an English one try a Wentworth WPA
