Defoe or Bent Theyve both got pace, both can finish, id say Bent is a better header of the ball and he will have more confidence with more games under his belt and loads more goals than Defoe. But then again i was gutted when the large foreheaded Swede left Defoe out of the euro squad but that was probably because Bent wasnt "in the frame then". Conlusion: Bent Also if Eriksson (probably spelt wrong) takes Hargreaves i will go and support Germany. He definatly has a mixture of downs, aids, and cancer, hes useless.
RE: did he now? And I thought it was Ashley cole Crouch will be goin as Shaun Wright Phillips assistant. He needs someone to reach the "magazines" from the top shelf. No trust me im not a doctor, Crouch will be goin, hes a good "impact" player and to be modest hes quiet tall so he offers us something different to the 4 "dwarfs". Also Sven probaly bums him because hes similar to Emile Heskey, in other words he cant score for toffy, an excellent striker in Svens eyes. Whilst were on the subject: will Sven be chearing for us or Sweden when we play each other?
Disagree I'd take 5 strikers. Rooney obviously, Owen not proved his fitness, so Defoe as a replacement, definately take Crouch as summat different, and I'd take Bent as 5th choice, for if we are really desperate and unlucky with injuries. I wouldnt take 3 keepers if squad places get tight, and would like to see David James miss out altogether cos of his attitude to being sub. with the World Cup just over 3 months away, we are praying Owen and Ashley Cole make remarkable progress else our squad starts looking decidedly ordinary.
In international football certain critera has to be met for example if you are going to play for England you have to be English (or if your dads fcked a polish women then you may be able to play for Poland?). So if the players have to meet this criteria surely the manager has to? Big Sam, Pearce* or Curbishly should be appointed as next England manager.
