does anybody else think things are looking grim behind the scenes at oakwell ?, no signings shepherd and cryne going quiet it doesn't look promising on the field either. i even thought about administration this morning

Things are looking grim..... The exec boxes could do with a touch of paint, the legends suite needs a new carpet.... Oh, and GS needs to get someone to sort the squeeking door out in the away dressing room, it is causing the home side to be distracted!

Hi Dave, well, I would venture that there's a strained relationship between Messer's Cryne and Shepherd regarding funding new players, Cryne, I suspect, is waiting to see if a positive outcome is in the offing to his isoft woes, if the problems are taken away without a massive financial penalty, then I could honestly see PC bankrolling AR for some quality players, it's unfotunate that Cryne finds himself in a financial pickle just as his team are embarking on a long awaited Championship campaign.
Couple this scenario with the attendances at Oakwell, lets face it, they are smaller than we all expected, and it all makes for a dreary outlook.
But I'm just a supporter, and my thoughts are pure conjecture, I have to go now, FECKIN CRAMP.

Heard that PC offered the club a sum of money 10 days ago. All took place when a board meeting was called, RE: AR approach from Owls. PC turned up, and offered cash to go along with the new contract. PC was told he wasn't to be involved with the meeting and asked to leave the room.... No take up of the money, and rumoured that tension between GS and PC is high!

Fair point, and would normally say the same BUT got a couple of family members within the pro football scene. This came following us playing a recent reserve game!
Maybe it isn't true but just passing it on

I'm not certain, but I do not believe that Mr Shepherd is a shareholder. Could be wholly wrong though.

That was on barnsley's own media source saying that club WILL go for box office players.</p>

But if PC is holding GS's company up with loan notes or whatever, surely he is treading a very fine line by potentially upsetting the clubs benefactor.
