I've posted and read some ***** on't net but ******* hell. Proper ******* hell.

 

At least Kay, Colgan and Hassell are getting a bit of a rest.

 

Hayes is a good player, just needs a bit of luck in front of goal. Richards, although better than Conlon, isnt all that. anyone capable of missing an open goal from 6 yards is a worry. and we were warned...

 

Why ever hassell is in the team i will never know., williams is m uch better

I wish we could sign proven regular goalscorers at Championship level. Akin to when we signed Hendrie. We can't. End of.

Hayes - First touch is quality. Doesn't need an hour to get his shot off. Movement and work ethic is second to none. Has missed sitters and imho had an absolute stinker on Saturday. So we get shut ? Is that what we are saying ? Write off a class act cos he's having a rough time in front of goal at the minute ?

Barnsleyt fans - salt of the earth, patient and appreciative. - Witcockart.

Richards - has given the team something it's not had for an age - aphysical presence up front. Holds the ball up well, wins crucial headers and punches above his weight. Would I like to have a player of Shipperley's class instead ? Yes. But Richards will do a job at this level imho.

But of course we are Barnsley. We DESERVE and expect to have the highest quality players and woe betide any player who doesn't match up to our expectations in every game he plays.

Happen they are not the worst...

...but we dont have a player in the top twenty of the divisions leading scorers.
