In the 'couldn't hit a barn door' stakes... ...where is Deon Burton, Don Goodman and Mike Sheron. **** me they didn't know what they were looking for.
RE: In the 'couldn't hit a barn door' stakes... Sheron was ten times the player Odejayi will ever be not popular cause of his attitude but he had far more talent than just about all our current strikers
Gotta be Oddjob No matter what he achevies in the rest of his career I will always remember him for the incedent at wembley. ho and did i mention that he had no awareness no passing ablity and overall is dogg *****
Why the **** Does everyone jump on Odejayi's back? I'm basically sick of it. Ok his football talent is not good, but anyone who's been to Watford especially, Preston, the Chelsea game and a few other will tell you he has real attributes that can cause havock. He could become a good player. So give him a chance, for **** sake. So unbelievably fickle.
RE: In the 'couldn't hit a barn door' stakes... Oh, don't get me wrong - I almost wrote along the bottom of that post how talented Sheron was. Proper footballer, great touches, good vision, brought players into the game, when he wanted to play, he could bloody play. Trouble with him was that he was a dreadful finisher - saw him punt so many over the bar from inside the six yard box, almost on the line even. Don't know how he scored so many for Stoke. He was also paid far too much money and he was a lazy Barsteward who didn't try hard enough to earn it. If you put him in our team today he would do absolutely nothing to take us any further forward. Not a chuffing thing.
RE: Why the **** Kind of agree even though i cant see him becoming a very good player.
Somebody just posted Fola Onibuje, Odejayi his 10 times better than he were thats for sure.

RE: Gotta be Oddjob Take it that you never saw Dave Regis then? Regis makes Odejayi look like Teddy Sherringham. For the Chelsea game alone nobody can compare the two - you would NEVER, EVER, get a performance like that out of Regis.
Who is the short arse we got from Swansea after beat them in the playoff? forgotten his name. Totally useless.
RE: In the 'couldn't hit a barn door' stakes... Sheron didn't have a clue he were supposed to be a striker you can't inclued him.
