Sheron was ten times the player Odejayi will ever be

not popular cause of his attitude but he had far more talent than just about all our current strikers

    Why the ****

Does everyone jump on Odejayi's back? I'm basically sick of it. Ok his football talent is not good, but anyone who's been to Watford especially, Preston, the Chelsea game and a few other will tell you he has real attributes that can cause havock. He could become a good player. So give him a chance, for **** sake. So unbelievably fickle.

Oh, don't get me wrong - I almost wrote along the bottom of that post how talented Sheron was. Proper footballer, great touches, good vision, brought players into the game, when he wanted to play, he could bloody play.

Trouble with him was that he was a dreadful finisher - saw him punt so many over the bar from inside the six yard box, almost on the line even. Don't know how he scored so many for Stoke. He was also paid far too much money and he was a lazy Barsteward who didn't try hard enough to earn it.

If you put him in our team today he would do absolutely nothing to take us any further forward. Not a chuffing thing.

Take it that you never saw Dave Regis then? :D

Regis makes Odejayi look like Teddy Sherringham.

For the Chelsea game alone nobody can compare the two - you would NEVER, EVER, get a performance like that out of Regis.
