    Oh happy day!!

No Reds player has frightened/angered/wound me up more than McNulty. Even Vaughan, Regan and Dangerous Brian weren't that bad.

Quite incredible that he made some of the basic errors he did at times. Just watch the highlights of the Southampton Cup game this season for evidence, defending a Sunday league player would be bollocked for.

Onwards and upwards anyway! Looks like whether we go down or scrape survival we're moving forward and will have a better chance of future success with Danny building a team.

Totally disagree. Had a very decent first season then suffered injury. There are far worst defenders playing for us every week now, let alone him being the worst defender seen at Oakwell.

No the worst defender is still at club IMO and wrongly has the number 4 shirt!

i personally thought he was a walking disaster area, but that's just my opinion. either way, good luck to him. i don't have it in me to celebrate players leaving though.

McNulty was always desperate for a shirt, usually one of the oppositions and in our penalty area.

Good luck to him in the future but this is one player I am glad to see the back of, should never have been given a contract in the Summer especially when Foster wasn`t offered one.

Wish I were then I wouldn't have had to watch Regan/Vaughan/O'Callaghan as I mentioned!

Seen better defenders seen worse. Can't really say I have any feelings either way about McNulty other than mild surprise that we gave him another contract in the first place.

You're probably right but the percentage of my wage that goes into the club thus went towards what he'll have been paid in being released makes it hard to sympathise.

13 posts and no-one has mentioned Paul Gibbs yet?

He's got to be up there.

Well I've seen many defenders I'd class as worse than McNulty. In fact, we've still got a couple on our books (and in the team).

Good luck to Jimmy in his future endeavours.

only when he was $hit. like any other player. a couple of people said bad things about him on twitter. he had a renaissance and was backed for it by the majority of reds. spineless. just like nicky eaden said.
