Well I thought we were a LOT better today than we have been at other points in the season and as a team played quite well, it was down to individual bad performances today imho
Only my opinion remember. But I stand by it. Bournemouth were awful and there for the taking. But that was the worst I have seen of us in years. I will expand on that later. Sack the lot is how I feel.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion however mine couldn't be further from yours today as I thought Bournemouth were quite good today and attacked well moving the ball around quickly
Big problem is, to a man the players do not give a flying ****. No chance of stopping up with these ****s.
Wilson needs to go as well. Much more effort from the players today but the lack of quality was all too evident. How Mellis can come on instead of McCourt is mind boggling!
Not for me. Last half hour was horrible like, but not the first 60 minutes. No great skill or owt, but plenty of that famous word: endeavour. Which produced the chances to score. Not half chances, proper chances that should produce goals. They didn't, confidence crumbled and we got worse and worse until the inevitable happened. However, I've seen worse performances this month, never mind in years. I read time and again people can cope with losing they just want to see the effort. For much of the game we got that. What people really mean is they can't cope with losing, they don't really care about effort, they just want us to win and to be honest they want us to win well and blow the opposition off the field, then they'll be happy. That's fair enough, I'm no different, that's what I want too. That's what makes me happy.
We have been worse no doubt. But against such gash opposition in a game we had to win? How many saves did we force their keeper to make? It's only my opinion. But that was a new low today for me. Kennedy, Dawson and Woods? Wunt get a game for Ath Rec.
I don't think the effort was there at all tbh first sixty minutes they did just enough to keep crowd off their back against a not very good bournemouth side apart from the few players with a conscience.
Exactly. My dad thought we didn't deserve to lose. I beg to differ. But we never agree on much anyway. Luke made save after save. Camp didn't need to.
bournmouth were a lot more threatening round our box than we were round theirs and always looked the more likely to score, like you say,Steele made quite a few saves whereas their keeper didn't.Speaks volumes really.
