and 4th in the table, last season we would have got a hiding, Blackpool look very similar to us last season and I hope they stop up can't we buy Kiegan Parker? causes problems every time they play us.
Last season I was complaining cos we'd played superbly and lost, this year it's cos we're playing crap and winning.......
RE: Last season Walking home last night did feel like a defeat though, im just hoping that the 2 games in 3 days thing was a massive factor in why we couldn't pass the ball to each other.
RE: Last season To be fair Saturday was a hard game, and it showed on JCR and Togwell esp who both got through a tremendous amount of work at the weekend and looked fcked last night. Macken's not match fit and Ferenczi's just back from a long lay off so that all has to be taken into consideration. last night though it was the fact we couldn't keep possession or pass the ball that concerned me.
RE: Macken Ran himself into the ground again last night, after 70 mins he was struggling to walk and yet Davey kept him on until the 89th minute, its decisions like that that baffle me. If you have 2 strikers on the bench ready to come on then why leave an obviously knackered player on the park.
Agreed, last night was justice for the Preston and Wednesday games last season where we dominated with 10 men and got nowt.
Tough on Blackpool but thats life.

Rufus......... do you seriously believe that was the worst performance in a long time? Like worse than Leicester? Hull?
At home, it was as poor as I've seen for a long time....... Did'nt go to either the games you refer to but watched the Hull game on TV, and yes, they were woeful, I don't miss many at home, and that is definitely the worst we've played so far, but 6 points in 3 days can't be bad.
