Worst performance....

I can remember that for the first home game of a new season.

Where was the belief of new season, new club, fresh beginning because it looked like an end of season nothing to play for match. Disorganised without much shape.

The game from our point of view was more route one than the previous 2 managers ever played. I did see pass and move but that came from Southampton we only managed to pass when they let us have it across the back four.

Adkins made sure Butterfield was closed down as soon as he got the ball which meant curtains to any creativity.

We managed to put pressure on at the death due to Southampton being unable to kill us off and basically panicing that we may get something.

Possession stats for the 3 games so far says we lost every time.

Hope he can change tack and make something happen or it is going to be a very long season and his swaggering gait down the touchline, like an aging Noel Gallagher, after a defeat will really get on my tits because it does all ready.

Anyway Tuesday is another day heres hoping.
