Worst thing that ever happened in football....

    ....was when they started renaming the leagues. For years, division one was division 1, 2 was 2, 3 was 3 and 4 was 4.
    Then 1 became Premier, 2 became 1, 3 became 2 and 4 became 3.
    Then 1 became Championship, the new 2 became 1 and the new 3 became 2.
    And amongst all this, we had to contend with Blue Squares and Conferences.

    I hate the fact that we have to refer to division one (premier) as the top tier of English footbal when we talk about the past.

    no worries ................ I know exactly where you are coming from. We are a SECOND division team IMHO and thats how I'll always see the 4 divisions (or should I include the Conference now ?) :)

    Hate how match times are so stupid because Sky are showing the match live. wtf is 5.25pm kick offs all about, wats up with 5.30, or 3.00 like the rest of us.
