I saw a bloke hung up by his feet in the toilets and then lowered into a giant mincemeat machine head first.

I think that was at Oakwell, or it could have been in the movie The Exterminator.

Don't know about worst but what was that match a few years back, we played Portsmouth midweek...

...and the club experimented with a money saving initiative where we didn't have any police on duty. I remember a few stewards having a brawl in the West Stand south terrace. Cries of "get a proper job" and "£2 an hour, you're on £2 an hour" reverberated around the ponty. I remember thinking oh the police will come and sort this out but there weren't any.

Mainly handbags the rest of them.....

The ORA Band getting duffed up in the Ponty bogs.

    That Liverpool game.

Bobby Hassell having a go after the Birmingham game the season before last.

    Dean Windass biting Anthony Kay.

Police dogs being set upon some pitch invading Sunderland fans.

    Anything involving Gerry Taggart.

    In recent times

Surely got to be the mounted police charge into the back of the North Stand and into the rioting Man City supporters. In the old days it was any game against Bradford with 15min yob fights on the pitch before the match!

Sunderland fan who sat in the middle of the Ponty and started shouting his mouth off

Stewards escorted him out of the ground along the Ponty concourse where he was jumped on by about twenty Barnsley fans - not pretty! </p>

    Geordies in 81/82.....

Mayhem in the town centre. Quite a few pubs were closed as a result of the pre-match shenanigans. Leeds in 84/85 was pretty bad too.

Remember that ... didn't they throw the pool table through the Jingle Boy's window?

Seen a few run ins with Wolves fans - loads of aggro at the Everton cup game in 89. One of their fans grabbed hold of me and told me to run - he was an Everton fan I knew from college - he saw my Barnsley scarf - laughed and then just ran down Harbro Hills! :D

    I remember

leaving work on Eldon Street one Saturday in what was probably '92 to see an on-rushing mob of Forest fans steaming down the road. Thankfully I was on my bike so I made a sharp exit. There must have been some fracas that evening.

    The pool table incident......

    Was at the Ring O'Bells.

The 76/77 Bradford City game was lively too - a horse lost it's eye during a missiled battle close to the railway junction.

    RE: Geordies in 81/82.....

The Manx used to have a parrot in a cage behind the bar, Newcastle fans set light to it....ever since we've referred to the place as The Smouldering Parrot
