Couple of months ago did a best XI since promotion. We've had some good players, but we've had some epic flops. Here's mine: 4-3-3 GK: Vito Mannone - Buttergloves RB: Marciano Bruma - Lazy lazy lazy LB: Mounir El Haimour - Worst player of the lot so, naturally, the captain CB: O'Neil Thompson - JCR's stonehead buddy CB: Suad Filekovic - Seriously, what WAS the point? CM: Dwayne Mattis - Why? CM: Andy Johnson - You could slightly feel his presence at least CM: Rohan Ricketts - Playing in Ireland now.. Isn't he? ST: Liam Dickinson - 25 year old youth prospect. Indeed. ST: Maceo Rigters - Sharp as a sleeping sloth ST: Chris Wood - Fail Subs: Kyle Letheren, Miguel Tininho, Neon Light, Onome Sodje, Jeronimooo
I thought van homoet was half decent but agreed on the rest, what even was Jeronimo. Maybe put Colace and arismendi in there too and who can forget Kayode
I thought of Kayode but to me the goal against Chelsea saves him everytime in this kind of debate. Arismendi & Colace did show early signs of quality before going downhill, something Mattis and Ricketts never had
Colace? Seriously? Former player of the year Hugo Colace? He might have had a poor last season but he's nowhere near any of our worst XIs
Even when he scored all those goals and won the player of the year, i still couldn't see what he added to the team
Dave Regis? LOL The 2006 play off promotion ya dingbat! Still, I would've had him instead of Mattis. Knew we were onto a bad thing with Davey when he put him in midfield against Wednesday with Rob Williams partnering him. I mean what the hell!
sorry, didn't read the subject title properly. thought we were discussing crap players in general. It's sunday, leave me alone.

Nah, Tony Bullock in the nets. That man could lose you a game all on his own. I don't think he understood the basic premise of a keeper i.e. to not let the ball into the nets.
Bit harsh on some of them I can think of at least 3 fullbacks worse than Van Homoet, wasn't too bad, wasn't brilliant, and I wouldn't say he was lazy either. Suad Filekovic, not his fault he never got played, same with Jeronimo Neumann. I suppose you could say the same about Andy Johnson. Think Tony Warner just edge's Vito Mannone, Vito's mistakes were highlighted because he lost us the game, on more than one occasion, he'd catch 9 out of 10 crosses but the one he missed cost us the game. Tony Warner just couldn't catch anything, I remember him at Coventry, flapping at everything that came within 15 yards of him, cost us all 4 (I think) goals that day. Reckon the front 3 could be Leon Knight, Maceo Rigters and Frank Nouble.
