worth more than thierry henry?

    RED Guest

    Henry – Not looked as good for the last 2 years now and is a few months short of 30. His value goes downhill from here. Arsenal got a deal while they could. It can also be claimed he only looked good against the Fulham’s and Watford’s in league games.

    Bent – Only just 23 and can only improve. Always looks impressive. Has a good left and right foot and and can go round players. Looks a good deal to me.

    The transfer fee is only half the story. You need to know the wages these guys are earning to make a proper comparison.

    young english players cost a bucket load more than there equivalent foreign imports. could you imagine what price nani and anderson would cost if they were english- a damn sight more than what than was actually paid

    eg theo walcott 12 and a half million. no where near worth that
