staying at home. sorry to say it, but cant be arsed at the moment. waiting for inspiration. maybe Gordon and Patrick are on the phone now trying to generate some cash injection, or pulling in favours from Premiership chairman. Maybe Andy Ritchie has been keeping tabs on a player or 2 that will shore up the defence and bring us some bite up front.

    maybe they cant be arsed.

We are easy to beat. Again.

Reight looking forward to Ronnie Moore's lads encamping in our half. No B*ll*cks this team at the mo unless everything's going in our favour. Very despondent moi.

    Not scoring enough goals

4 games, no goals. I'd have more confidence of a turnaround if our problems we limited to a badly organised back 4. but we have problems all over the place. October is the month when your squad should be into its stride, putting consistent performances and results together. we're shipping goals, havent scored in 4 games and are resorting to kids and the not fully match fit to plug gaps in a small squad.

never mind the jigsaw, I bet Ritchie doesnt know whether he needs a **** shower or shave? still, at least we have a club.

    Want to know summat ?

I wouldn't be devastated if they locked the gates and built houses on Oakwell.

5 years of John Dennis, YouKnowWho, Sean Lewis, journeymen, Spackman, Parkin, Hodges, Hart, Ridsdale and our 'financial position' plus 'if ' men have chipped away at my resolve. I nearly don't care anymore. Saturdays are a chore.

    Perhaps I'm a poor supporter.

    RE: You know Dirk...

Now I'm sure Shepherd and Mr Cryne want the club to succeed. I'm sure it is necessary to arrest the haemorraging (sp) of money. I'm sure they are fans. I just wish from what I can glean from public announcements and official channels that they seemed to have the same urgency and/or ability to get the playing side sorted.

I KNOW they have 'inherited' a poor poor situation on and off the field, what i am saying is , and this sticks in my craw, that the club needs some positive PR and some sort of encouragement to supporters to get behind them, other than the apparent 'be grateful you have a club' message.

This is just my opinion, mind, Rob Knowles dunt read this board by the looks.

    Ditto

sad state of affairs when fence staining, blind fixing and light fittings are priority above a home game.

should anyone involved with the running of club be reading this, I am not exaggerating when I say there are hundreds of people losing interest as the weeks pass. cloth cutting or business realigning is pointless if your customers have left the building without you noticing.

    Glad you said that

I think you've actually said what a lot of people are thinking.

    Sad but true.

    Oh no not al all..

the user Rob Knowles BFC is never on here....

I am sick to death of hearing we are lucky to have a club. I know we are,and I know that we need to be grateful to Mr Cryne.

The price rises this summer were hard to stomach, especially when compared to our local rivals and the complete lack of any initiatives to fill the ground again when compared to our local rivals (esp Huddersfield) is laughable.

You are quite right that they inherited a poor situation...I still pose the probably dangerous question that there are more people to blame for the financial problems exacerbated by Peter Ridsdale and David Walker's actions. Why were no tighter controls imposed given his track record?

The club needs to re-enage it's supporters. Some will no doubts ignore the problems and say that they arenoneofour business, but it was our problem when the club slipped in to admin before and we should be concerned now regardless of who is in charge about the club and it's direction

Admitedly, a half decent run of results will put a lot of thoughts of trobles out of people's minds, but my memory is much longer than that.

Certain things (you know) that have happened lately have left a bad taste in my mouth and the how did you put it yesterday? "Wall of silence" from the club only serves to worsen the relationship imho

I'll not be going again for a while.
It's difficult to justify paying £22 for that standard of entertainment.

Barnsley have become a very cr@p team to support. Cr@p to watch, cr@p to talk about, run like a cr@p business, cr@p players, and they treat the supporters like cr@p.
