Entertain me more frequently and that means I`ll accept 0, 1 or 3 points as long as the team play with passion and commitment and give their all.

If he cant do it or anyone that is fetched in to manage the club cant do it then they can **** off. I`ll be watching and supporting regardless of changes in personnel.

We the fans are the one constant in Barnsley Football Club.

By the way I was entertained today.

The best one with the anti davey bairns is .......

when you ask for an alternative manager , they come up wih Wilson/Refrearn/Winstanley , i loved the 80's too.
Dragon slated Davey on here , when i asked who he wanted he could not say , on that note i feel sorry for his wife /partner !

well its either that or Allardyce, Keegan or Scolari... note that these are the same people who think rafael at man utd would be a good loan signing or maybe victor anichebe... why not go all out and make a bid for ryan giggs he might fancy his last season at oakwell

    Well, speaking for myself

I would like to see real & definitive progress being made. By that I mean no relegation battle rather than an odd point and/or place better than the previous season, no looking over our shoulder week after week, mid table security for a couple of seasons, young players coming through from the Academy and being good enough to hold down a first team squad place (as opposed to the odd, brief substitute appearance), stop playing players out of position (square peg in round hole syndrome), bring in a left footed left back (either promoted from the reserves/Academy, or from another club).
I don't believe Simon Davey can deliver, others (including Patrick Cryne) do. Differing opinions are allowed to be voiced in this country, unless I'm mistaken. It doesn't mean my support is less passionate, or I don't care for the club.
Also, just because someone has a different opinion to myself does not entitle me to subject those individuals to personal, childish & immature abuse. I will be respectful of them & their views. I hope this will be reciprocated.

I would like to see an improvement each season. So far this season it isn't the case but yet we have a stronger squad with more strenght in depth. If we do accumulate more points than the previous 2 seasons, around the 60 mark and we're not goin into the final 3 games of the season still needing points to stay up then fair enough Davey should be given another season. If this is not the case and we need points in those final few games to stay up i would find it hard see what he has done to deserve another chance.

    RE: Well, speaking for myself

I agree entirely with your sentiments.
Simon Davey has signed some good players and I think we all agree that we now have a better squad than the one he inherited. However, he has to prove that he can get the best out of these players on a regular basis, not for the odd couple of games here and there as has been the case all the way through his tenure. His tactical awareness does not seem to have improved greatly over the three seasons that he has been operating and he still seems unable to resolve problems with players other than the childish method of saying either do it my way or your not playing with the obvious weakening of the team being the result. He has to grow up and manage a mans team instead of still trying to manage an Academy team.

What idiotic reasoning you have mrx

Following your logic that means that in order for me to make the statement that the chief exec of woolworths was doing a bad job then I have to be able to name an alternative businessman willing to take over the reigns?

I've no idea who is qualified and good enough to take over RBS but the bloke that has just been removed was doing a **** job. Oh hang on, no he was doing fine because I can't name an alternative.

This is just exactly the same thing Simon Davey ha done from day one and yet every time it happens you get the same people saying "WOW 3 or 4 or 5 games unbeaten" but then we flop for a month or two again. Look back at our results whilst he has been in charge, it is nothing but inconsistent.

This run is no different from the one back in October where picked a few points up. We are hardly if any better off now than we were at this point last year and we have some very hard games ahead of us. Cryne has to remove him this summer, he has had long enough and it just seams like groundhog day under him. Better players but the same results means the manager isn't getting enough from the players and is tactically not good enough.

Wish people would remember how bad we have been at times this season instead of being blinded by the odd decent performance.

    For me its Davey Out!

    Preston, Plymouth!, Reading??

I think you mean the last 3 perhaps. Though of the Charlton, Soton & Ipswich games only the latter was that bad.

    I thought the peformances

Against Southampton, Ipswich Town & Charlton Athletic were dreadfully poor. Just my opinion.

I agree, not only were the performances pitiful but for the first time since PH was in charge sitting at Oakwell was becoming a chore. I would never stop going but just sitting there watching some of that tripe was painful.
