so far nowt really has been of any significant joy just lately. Seems we have shipped out 21 players (that's if COG, Cranie & Kennedy go) and just brought in 3 new ones. Maths say that's 1 step forwards and 7 steps backwards. We seem to be concentrating more on behind the scenes stuff instead of what is really gonna bring in the fans and the cash........ THE FIRST TEAM. A month to go before we kick off and we are running on petrol fumes as it were. Not a word from the hierarchy as to WTF is going on with the team, the silence is deafening. Too early to worry ? perhaps, but there is serious cause for concern methinks.
second guessing what? but do you practice happy clapping at least seven times a day.. or even more ??
'No News' thats the watchword of BFC and that's been so for year upon feckin year... no wonder season tickets always fall into a very average sales band.
Re: 'No News' thats the watchword of BFC Serious question - are you impressed with what you have seen so far?
Totally agree with how you feel. Wilson has to wheel n deal quickly to bolster a very lightweight squad. To top it all we proposing to sell one of our assets to one of our rivals. It ain't boding well for the season ahead!
Sadly you are probably correct. Let the youngster's have the chance to blossom. Not particularly excited though for the season ahead.
I'm not panicking just yet but I'm getting more concerned each day that passes with nothing positive coming out of Oakwell. If we sell O'Grady to the blunts I will be seriously hacked off with Ben and Pat, it will send all the wrong signals out.
