It's his club. He can do as he likes for me. I think he will ensure it is used for ensuring the long term future of the club

The hard truth is that without extra funds, competing will be difficult.

Would you be justified in spending your money how you wish?

    Yes.

Same difference, his money, his choice.

Yes it's time he took something back.

But he'll also take great satisfaction in investing it in the club. Not necessarily on players though.

Yes. It may speed up the transfer to a fan based trust which has been talked about.
It would be stupid to start throwing silly money at the team though.
It's likely the money will be paid in instalments as most transfer fees appear to be.

Can't repay a debt that has been written off.

Any loans still owing to PC. That's up to him really.

Didn't he confirm it's going straight back into the system?

Definitely and I wouldn't blame him if he did. I don't think he will however, not all of it anyway.

It was reported as I recall that the asking price to buy the club was £1m with £6m due should we get back to the Prem - I assume that £6m is loan debt to PC ?

So legally he couldn't take any money out of the club unless it is to settle the balance of an outstanding loan? Do we know what loans are outstanding from the accounts?
