I'm in a bit of a pickle. I go on hol tomorrow & wont be back in time to get tickets. Went to get em today thinking sensible folk who can wait til later would do.

Ive got ticket 373 and will be going back about 4pm with the hope I may get them today.

I'd like to thank the Trust members for the following:-

Acting quickly to make the best of a bad situation

Being honest about the numbers being served per hour

Giving folk the chance to go about other business/use the loos/get a coffee & somert to eat

Giving their personal telephone nos out so folk can call & check on their status in the queue

In my case offering to PAY for my tickets on THEIR card & offering to let me pay them when I get back from hols.

I dont understand what the rush is - if I wasnt going away I wouldnt have gone today but next week. My ST's are mine til 1st March and getting the 2nd 2 seats together somewhere in ground shouldnt be a prob. There are 17000 of the damn things available after all.

TODAYS QUEUE IS DOWN TO FANS NOT THE CLUB.

THE CLUB IS CULPABLE ONLY IN AS MUCH AS THERE ARE ONLY 3 OF 5 TILLS OPEN. Having all the tills open would have been a sensible precaution

    QUEUE ABUSE

Any idea how many tickets have been sold, with this much easier system? It sounds much better planned this time. It's good that people have been looked after and able to go for a drink and that.

They were serving 50 people per hour

Ticket for place in queue started about 10ish so 8hrs minus hour lunch 7 x 50=350 people depends on how many tickets each was wanting. Cant say but guess 350 x 4=1400 approx as an educated guess by end on day

    Yes of course

But getting Doyle Security to do it at short notice wouldnt have been poss. Don Rowling had politely asked the towns populace not to all rush today. I was amazed when I got there tbh.

At a guess Col U stub holders will get their tickets

Club culpable for not being fully manned as I say

How do they manage to sell 6,000 in one day for Liverpool

But only 1400 today? If they did only manage that then there is going to be the exact same queues every day for tickets.

People trying to get spare tickets together or close to their season ticket seat. Its was obviously going to be a nightmare to manage.

Exactly. It should have been 1 ticket per ST.

RE: there is no deal for stub holders.........

Article on official website about 4/5 days ago said that Col U stub holders would be before general sale. Have the club now gone back on that?
