............saw Hammill on the tele last season and he looked dire

But under Keeeflicker i think he could get his career back on track

Obviously his wage demands would be a sticking point because he will have been on big bucks at Wolves

But how long can a footballer afford to drift before he becomes obsolete

Rather have Treacy out of the three. The other two reaped what they sewed.

Why would you want him back when he's done nothing of note at two different clubs since leaving us? Is it based on what he did for a brief period for us a few years back?

No its based on something Keith Hill said this week in relation to getting away from signing players in January.

I saw Hammill play for a Championship club on the tele after January.........he didn't look the same player as when he played for us.

Sitting in the dressing room obviously destroys talent

Nevertheless I still think Hammill is a better player than either Howard or Treacy

If the Keeflicker could get hold of him I think they could restore that talent

Just seen old you tube clips... you forget how many goals he scored for us. Hammill really was different class. Would love to see him back but can't see it happening likewise with Howard. forget a new striker if we could add howard and Hammill to the ranks job done

I'd love both Howard & Hammill back but these threads make me laugh. It's all hypothetical as there's no way we could afford Hammill back and I don't think KH is remotely interested in Howard. There's been a public invitation by Howard himself and nothing has come of it so I reckon it's time to move on.
Keith Treacy would be a great signing for us. He has the talent and at 23 should be approaching his peak. Takes a good free kick also.
