1. too much money and dont know where its come from.
2. fat
3. had 7 chances against us in the cup at oakwell before he got one on target.
4. not enough goals this season from open play. so no better then current riff raff we have.
5. too old. we aint going to get our moneys worth out of him.
6. its not up front that needs sorting.
7. past his prime and going downhill.

He'd be a great signing, Yes.

They've already rejected £100,000, so if we were to sign him how much would we be talking? Whatever the price now, it'd be too much.

No.

He would Be Good For Us

His goals would almost guarantee promotion even if he plays for us just this season, our current strikers cannot scor its the wingers who are doing it for us so to me a striker who is experienced like Windass can only benefit us.

He hasn't a single bit of fat on him! I still think he's afew good seasons left in him. Plus he'd be important to us off the field aswell as on the field.

The answer has to be Yes everytime to the question asked.

Do you think any offer above £100,000 is worth it for Windass? How much would you be willing to pay for him?

Absolutely - strikers are best as a pair

All the lads that we have are good players BUT they are young.

I think all of them would improve from being paired with the experience of Windass.

apart from that on his own merits he's top notch forthis division

You're in a class of your own mate

Everyone who disagrees with you is stupid?

I actually think he would be a good signing but there's a list of pro's and con's about his signing and there's not much in it.

Yes, but he's on about pairing an old one going downhill with a perky young one.
That's never going to work.

Take those two bints in the niff on last night's Autopsy programme.
Now you wouldn't want a hybrid, would you?

I think I'd go up to

£250k. cos I reckon thats the minimum a top 6 place would generate. whats an extra 2,000 pay on the day customers x remaining games?

I'd be careful on the length of contract, obviously. but of the squad we have now, how many do you think are capable of doing it in the Championship? how many have scored a goal in a high league?

I'm the one who's stupid

For even bothering to talk sense to you.

I usually give you the benefit of the doubt but Jesus this time I'm struggling.

If Windass was an amazing player we weren't even worthy of been linked with I'd understand you calling people stupid, but hang on, this is 36 year old Dean Windass who's scored less goals from open play than Paul Hayes, possibly set up less goals than Paul Hayes, and has probably missed more chances than hayes coz he's worshipped down at Bradford so he must be doing something wrong if there boo-ing him.

Is that coffee I smell?
