I personally wouldnt. I would plow money into a lower league team ie conference and see how far i could take them. Yes i am a red through and through but that isnt the debate.

    B*ll*cks to that!

I'd live a merry life with anonmity with regards my wealth. I wouldn't tell a soul but would employ all my mates on the company i already have but have a laid back feel with top-rate pay..... I also believe that with that attitude that i'd get the best from them too :) Holiday pay would be £3,000 for the fortnight per chum and Christmas would be the same for each individual. the interest alone would cover most of this (blagger)

I'd give a million each to me 20 or so extremely good friends and use the interest to fund a life of round the world tomfoolery.
and some of me family would be looked after too.**** that sounds like i put me mates before me family dunt it

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

Have people on here telling me when I should sack the manager, what players I should buy and so on? We'd be f**ked after 20 minutes.

Had this conversation numerous times when it gets that big

and always said would buy Tykes and pump about 30m into, still leaving me a tidy 45m left to piss up wall on strippers and NYC parties, oh and a Sky Box at San Siro as well

I'd offer to pay up some contracts

Davey, Souza, Van Homoet, Leon, El Haimour, KO

Then give the new manager some money to spend on fees and wages

I wouldn't want to be chairman though

If I won 75m then I would be on the phone the next day. Take 50m out for me and my family and the rest is to take BFC forward. The figures scaled down depending on the win but the principle remains the same if I win on tonights 7.5m.

i wouldn't buy the club because i'd undoubtedly make stupid decisions, maybe donate say 10million from the 70 or something though or say something along the lines of "if you need money for big signings i'd be happy to produce it"

I'd buy Weymouth, they'd only cost a few quid and i'd pick myself and all my mates to play for them

If I had won 85 million i'd have put it nowhere near Football club investment.

Yeah yeah defo agree, scale it down depending on amount

Lets start a new debate "If you wouldn't buy club you aren't a proper fan"

    lol

I would be chairman, owner, website editor, marketing etc etc i'd rule the fookin roost. I'd be milling around on pitch before game and at training in my armani coat and scarf letting players know in no uncertain terms just what it means to pull on the red and white and what it means to the 10'500 faithful.

If they didn't perform to my standard they would be sacked and i'd drive em back to where ever they came from.

I be a nightmare but a good one if that makes sense.

West stand would be developed and like someone said, named after me, they didn't say me they meant them but me you see.

Away fans who went to Cardiff and Plymouth and the like midweek would be given their travel for free and would dine with me prior to the game at a restaurant of my choice, Italian with Peroni or Birra Moretti on draft. I would thank them personally for their sacrifices and let them know how appreciated their support is.

I would also encourage banners and ultra style supporting at home to make Oakwell a fortress.

The manager would have clear objectives and targets, i would help him as much as humanly possible but if we were failing he would be get the bullet. I wouldn't listen to you lot, i know enough and see enough to make my mind up but i would meet with you all on a monthly basis

I've not thought about it much to be honest lol

C'mon on lottery change mine and Barnsley forever

    Absolutely not

I know nothing about running a football club.
I might be prepared to invest some money in the club if there was a practical way to do it but thats as far as it would go
Definitely wouldnt want to be the owner

I'd invest £10 million quid & get back to being a supporter.

Earmark £5 mil for the infrastructure IE youth scouting, marketing department revamp, PR etc while the other £2.5 million for the squad & the rest to pay off any debts.

PC needs a medal the size of a dustbin lid.

If thats what you fancy. I would prefer to just give them a bit of cash, just as people do to charitys, something they care about. Just a simple personal opinion to a post on a forum, making no judgment on anybody elses opinion.

Ignore me if I have misread your post.
