In the Daily Mirror this morning it says according to our website that Warnock wants rid of him. So would you want us to get him back as one of the two experienced central defenders we need to get in to replace Carbon and Vaughan ?

    yes... but

Reid and kay are both equally as good in my opinion, if not better.

But we do need someon else, the real question is,

if we did get him back, could we keep the 3 of them happy

    Captain of the 2005/06 runners-up ......

.... Barnsley lad/fan who lost his way a little bit but is a far more experienced and a far better player now .... we would be foolish not to go for him if he became available, he would be a top signing for us

[IMG] Morgan is too cavalier in his attitude, too many needless red cards for my liking. He wanted out when things was not so good, so that says it all to me.

    Probably Not

Without doubt he's good enough but plays for Reds with his heart not his head.

I would still have him back though but only on a freebie. If there's a fee involved we can get just as good for nowt these days.

    hes captain of the pigs

cant see them letting him go and i doubt he would give up another chance in the premier league! Unless he wont cut it up there i cant see him leaving.

He's not, the pigs are Wednesday, he's captain of the blunts....

... and there's every chance they will let him go because Warnock knows he will struggle in the Prem (like the rest of his squad will) but he's just signed that defender from Man City (name escapes me) and he's lost his rag with Morgan loads of times when Morgan has picked up silly red cards.

Warnock knows that will get worse next season when he's left on his arse by the likes of Rooney and Henry and that Schevvy bloke at Chelsea. Good Championship level player though and would do a good job for us now, like I said earlier, a far better player than when we had him last time

    I'd have him back..

improved as a player cos he's had an experienced head at the sideof him. Which was lacking at Oakwell during his time.

His Wife had just given birth to their first child. I don't think he had any options.
he loves the Club and I'd have him back tomorrow.

Can't fault thee there. Not much finesse and will be caught out in the Prem. Purely from loyalty and on emotional grounds (all heart) I think Warnock should give him, say, 10 games then review the situation. The City guy is David Someille and we also have Luketti from Preston as a centre half.

And you're right we aren't the Pigs. Blades is better, not much bluntness about us last season

I'd like him back, but I doubt Reid would after saying 'I want to captain the Championship side' or whatever it was.
