He has done well at the other clubs he has been at - consistently produced good footballing sides very much of the style we all enjoyed watching, and correct me if I'm wrong, but none of them got relegated. Bristol lost patience with him and I could never understand why. They were on the brink of promotion for about three seasonsrunning. I think they simply couldn't wait any more - which was silly really and they threw out the baby with the bath water. If you brought Wilson backyou'd have to be willing to give him four years. Iwould welcome him back quite happily and I think it would generatesome excitementwith the fans (if not excitement then intrigue at least). I like the football he aspires to, I think he builds a good team spirit, and I think heis a stronger more experienced manager now.He is, and probably always will be, the best manager weever had, how he ever lifted Barnsley into the Premier League is still beyond me. Yes, I'd happily havehim back.

(I'm going to get a kicking now, aren'tI?)

    Good footballing sides

Wednesday good football don't think so anyway didn't he start the rot. He had more chances at bristol than a cats got lives and failed. Never set the world alight at MK Dons either

    Redfearns record

Cracking player **** manager just cos a player is good doesn't make him a good manager

    Not as manager

but i bet he could teach our midfielders a trick or two

people talk about managers inspiring players and fans

Wouldnt mind Wilson and Redfearn (as number 2) in our dugout

He has failed in other clubs cause barnsley is the only club that he can manage. Not all players play well in some clubs either.
Anderlecht had a Australian player, Clayton Zane, who used to play at Molde first, where he was poor. Not before he was bought by Lillestrom
    did he play very good.

    RE: Good footballing sides

He did really well at Bristol City. They got shut of him and replaced him with Tinnion. That same bunch of players almost got relegated the following season under Tinnion.

Had they hung onto him one more season, im quite sure that they would have been promoted the following season. The standard was very poor that season.
