Just wondered what the consensus would be if he is affordable?

I would, I think he could be a very good player at championship level. I hope Hill does sign him.

He would have to be on a very low wage which is mainly based on minutes on the pitch. If he plays well we could have another Vaz Te scenario on our hands.

I would have thought his wage demands would be outside of are range scope. But I would be pleased if we could land him.

I would like to see him in front of the back four in at least one game thats left to see if he has got the heart to get stuck in because he comes across to me has having glass legs and being very protective of them.

Just my opinion and I do know that is not his position or the type of player he his.

Quality in comparison to what we have at the moment but work rate and I have a feeling he may be prone to injury would put me off.

    Yes

Provided he's fit enough and we can afford his salary demands.

KH's exact words when we signed him

Were that Stoke are doing us a massive financial favour for him to be here.

Reckon he might have a couple of offers at the end of the season, and no doubt will take the best one.

Having said all that, I reckon with a full pre season behind him, permitting he stays fit, he'd be a decent player.

There's a good player in there somewhere

But we haven't seen it while he's played for Barnsley. Although he hasn't played much either. Dunno really. Would he sign for us anyway?

He is a good player but hasn't shown it in his loan spell, not played which has been baffling tbh. Tough decision on whether to sign him given that, I am sure he would be a top earner so would we get value?

Has a year left on his 18 grand a week contract, and has been content to sit on it for 3 years. Aye, course he's guna come ere for a tenth of that.
And lets be fair, whats he done since coming ere?
Sweet FA considering you're all gagging for him to sign.
    Rather play Digby

    Re: Yes

His fitness would appear to be fragile, so I'm not convinced he is really in a position to be making huge salary demands. He certainly has quality and might just be the type of player Keith would take a gamble on (in a similar way to McNulty).

We've hardly seen anything of him though (same with Rob Edwards). Hopefully, they will both play the remaining fixtures and see where we are.

    Re: Yes

Absolutely. Players of that caliber are what we ideallyned to be looking at. The only snag may be his wages but if the club/board are to prove to the fans that we are a club moving forward then yes he'd be 1 of my summe signings.

Although we ain't seen a great deal of him when he as played I think he's showed what he is capable of doing.

Yes, but don't forget Hill said that Pulis had done him a "fantastic deal" in allowing on loan - I would guess he's on 15/20k a week. Unless he's willing to take a 10/15k pay cut he's back on the bench at stoke or he's out of contract and doesn't get better offer elsewhere.

I'd be happy with him signing on a season long loan deal, provided we can do a similar deal with Stoke, then reviewing it again.

What personally? I'd rather keep Rachel Riley, but each to his own!

Sorry, in answer to your question - yes I would.
