Not a chance. At that price the football can get stuffed.

Was going to go, meet up with some family for the day and they were staying over. Now the cost of hotels has doubled due to the Cricket i guess, they won't be coming and at £34 to get in I will not bother. At £25 I would have done, maybe even at £28 - but £34 is too much.

Same reason I didn't go to Ipswich last year despit it only being a 45 min drive from me, once you get over £30 it starts to feel to expensive. It is an emotional thing rather than someting rational, the £6 difference from £28 to £34 wouldn't buy much today but it just makes it feel a pi55 take.

the cricket match is in cardiff over 150 miles away
you can also buy a ticket for £28 in the corner stand
the hotels are still expensive mid, bank holiday and that...

Yes, but only because I've already got the train tickets sorted, otherwise I'd be thinking twice about it.

That solves a problem for me

Was undecided whether to go - Brighton is one of my nearest grounds but it is a real pain to get to and from so I was trying to make up my mind about going.
£34 they are having a laugh cant see me going now

That's £34 per person, plus £20 odd quid for a bus ticket. Call it £60 before you've even set off, food, drinks, programme, cheeky bet, bearing in mind it's an all day job too, setting off early and getting home in the early hours, knocking on £100 by the time you're home, for an hour an a half of football. No tar.

some fowk actually live for the 'not so super' reds and would go anywhere at any price.......... these are the people who are keeping the prices high....if fowk said 'sod it' en mass........... the prices would soon drop.

P.S. this will never happen because i will repeat my initial sentence....'some fowk live for the 'not so super reds''.

I didn't intend on going anyway. But that price is shocking. And that's coming from me, a supporter of BFC, whose own prices are at least a fiver too steep.

    Voted no.

It's not just £34 but the trip down. Sod going there and back in the back of a car, need to have it over a weekend when going that distance.

Also - end of month (before pay day) - don't have magical bottomless pockets, went for weekend last season, and I strive to spend more and more 'away game' Saturdays with the kids!

Not worth it. You can watch the best teams in England play premiership football for that.

TBH I think its time fans did call time on ridiculous pricing and said enough is enough. After all what do they do with it ?use it to pay ridiculous wages for one thing. Its def time now for football clubs to be made to live in the real world!
